Why does my Jupiter slider keep getting harder to open?
Usually corroded rollers and a pitted or sandy track. Salt rusts plain steel roller bearings and sand grinds the track, so the wheels stop turning and drag. New stainless rollers and, if the track is worn, a stainless steel track cap usually fix it.
My impact door is hard to slide. Does it need replacing?
Usually not. The panels are heavy, and a couple of small rollers carry all of that weight. New heavy-duty rollers and an adjustment fix most of them. We do mechanical repair only, no glass.
