The short version
- We collect what you send us, like your name, phone number, town and what’s wrong with your door, so we can reply, book a visit and do the work.
- Form messages pass through a form service and land in our business email.
- The site remembers which ad or search brought you here, and adds that to your form so we know which ads work.
- When we run ads, tools from Google, Meta and TikTok may be on the site to measure visits and clicks. We don’t send them what you type into our forms.
- We don’t sell your personal information.
Who we are
This website, jetslidingdoors.com, is run by JET Sliding Doors, a sliding door repair company in Florida. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean JET Sliding Doors. The site is meant for people in the United States.
What you send us
The booking form
Your name, phone number, city or ZIP code, what the door is doing, any details you type in, your preferred day and time window, how you’d like us to reach you and, if you give it, your email address.
The condo and property form
The property or building name, your role, the approximate number of units, your name, phone number and email address, and any notes you add.
If you email us directly, we get your email address, your message and any photos you send.
We ask for photos so we can bring the right parts. Please keep people and anything private out of the frame.
Where form messages go
When you send a form, it goes to Web3Forms, a form-handling service, which emails it to our business inbox. Our email runs on Google Workspace. Web3Forms and Google handle that data under their own privacy policies.
Along with what you typed, the form includes:
- the page you sent it from
- the first-visit details described in the next section, if your browser has them
The form also has a hidden box that people never see. Spam bots tend to tick it, and when they do, nothing is sent.
What the site records on its own
How you first found us
On your first visit, the site saves a small note in your browser’s local storage (under the name
jet_first_touch). It can include:
- the campaign tags in the link you clicked (
utm_source,utm_medium,utm_campaign,utm_term,utm_content) - ad click IDs added by Google (
gclid, gbraid, wbraid), Meta (fbclid) and TikTok (ttclid) - the page you landed on, the address of the site that sent you, and the date and time of that visit
If your first visit didn’t come from an ad and a later one did, the site keeps the ad visit instead. The note stays in your browser until you clear your site data. Our code only sends it anywhere when you submit a form, as part of that form.
Not counting a request twice
After you send a form, the site leaves a short note in your browser’s session storage
(jet_lead_pending) with the form’s name and the time. The thank-you page reads it, counts the
request once in our ad reports and deletes it straight away, so reloading that page doesn’t count it again. The
site also stores the time of the request (jet_lead_tracked_at) for the same reason. Session storage
is cleared when you close the tab.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare handles technical details of each visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site and protect it from attacks.
Cookies and browser storage
Our own code doesn’t set cookies. It uses the local and session storage described above. Cloudflare may set a security cookie if it needs to check that a visitor isn’t a bot. The analytics and ad tools below set their own cookies, but only while they’re switched on.
You can block cookies or clear site data in your browser settings. The forms, the email links and the rest of the site still work if you do.
Analytics and advertising tools
We use these tools to see how people find the site and which ads lead to bookings. Each one loads only when we’ve switched it on. When it’s off, its code isn’t on the page at all.
-
Google Analytics
Not in use right nowGoogle
Counts visits and shows us which pages people read and how they found the site.
-
Google Ads
Not in use right nowGoogle
Tells us which Google ads led to a booking or an email.
-
Meta Pixel
Not in use right nowMeta (Facebook and Instagram)
Measures our Facebook and Instagram ads, and can be used to show our ads to people who visited the site.
-
TikTok Pixel
Not in use right nowTikTok
Measures our TikTok ads, and can be used to show our ads to people who visited the site.
When a tool is on, the company behind it can receive:
- the pages you visit, your IP address, device and browser details, and its own cookie IDs
- an event when you tap an Email button or link, and which part of the page you tapped it on
- an event when you send a form, with the form’s name (for example "booking"), but not what you typed
We don’t send these companies your name, phone number, email address, town or message. Each company handles what it receives under its own privacy policy, and it may link that to other information it holds about you, for example if you’re logged in to its service. You can read more from Google, Meta and TikTok.
To limit this tracking:
- Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on
- Google’s My Ad Center for Google ad settings
- Meta ad preferences
- TikTok: the ads settings in the TikTok app
- Industry opt-outs from the Digital Advertising Alliance and the Network Advertising Initiative
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. The site doesn’t change what it does in response, so please use the options above or your browser’s settings.
How we use your information
- to reply to you and set up your free estimate
- to do the work, and to send photos when you’ve asked for them, for example as a condo unit report or while you’re away
- to send a certificate of insurance or a W-9 when a building asks for one
- to handle warranty requests and keep our business and tax records
- to see which pages and ads bring in requests, so we spend our ad budget sensibly
- to keep spam out of our inbox
Who we share it with
We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t give your contact details to other companies for their own marketing. We share information only with:
- the services that run the site and our business: Web3Forms for forms, Google Workspace for email, Cloudflare for hosting, and the phone and messaging services we use to talk to you
- the analytics and ad companies above, only while their tools are on, and only as described
- people you ask us to work with, such as your property manager, caretaker or HOA
- anyone the law requires us to share it with
How long we keep it
We keep form emails, messages and job records for as long as we need them to do the work, handle the warranty and keep our tax and business records. After that, we delete them.
Your choices
- Ask us what information we have about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing amir@jetslidingdoors.com. We’ll do it unless we have to keep something, for example for tax records.
- Clear the site’s data in your browser to remove the first-visit note.
- Use the opt-outs above to limit analytics and ad tracking.
- If you’d rather not use a form, email us instead.
Children
This site is for adults arranging repairs. It isn’t aimed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has sent us personal information, email us and we’ll delete it.
Security
We use established providers and keep your details to the people who need them to do your job. No website or email system is perfectly secure, so please don’t send card numbers, bank details or Social Security numbers through the form or by email. We don’t take payments on this website.
Links on this site to other services, such as Instagram or Google, are covered by those services’ own privacy policies.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version on this page and update the effective date at the top.
