Estimates, fees and paying
Can you give me a price over the phone?
No, and the same goes for text and photos. Every door is different, so we don’t guess over the phone. A specialist looks at your door and gives you an exact price, free, before any work starts.
Two doors that both "stick" can need very different fixes. One has flat rollers, the other has a bent track or a panel sitting too low. We’d rather give you one exact price at the door than a guess that changes when we get there.
Then why do you ask for photos?
Send us a photo so we come with the right parts. A photo shows us the kind of door, the style of roller or lock, and whether it’s an impact door, so the right parts are on the van.
It isn’t a quote. The price still comes after a specialist has seen the door.
Is the estimate really free?
Yes. Free estimate. No trip fee. No same-day fee. No after-hours fee. No minimum.
If you decide not to go ahead, you don’t owe us anything.
How can I pay?
Cash, Zelle, Venmo, check or card. Credit card payments carry a small processing fee. Cash, Zelle, Venmo, check and debit cards don’t.
I have several doors. Is there a better price?
Ask about multi-door savings when you book. Tell us how many doors need work, so the specialist can look at all of them on the same visit.

What we fix, and what we don’t
What do you repair?
Sliding glass doors and every part that makes them roll, close and lock: rollers, bottom tracks, stainless track caps, locks, handles, latches, keepers, weatherstrip and brush seals. We also work on impact sliders, pocket doors, sliding screen doors and the mechanical parts of windows.
And we do tune-ups: clean, lubricate and adjust, so the door keeps rolling the way it should. See every service
Do you replace glass or install new doors?
No. We don’t replace glass or install new doors. We fix the one you have.
Cracked or fogged glass is a job for a glass company, and new doors and windows are a job for an installer. We fix everything around the glass: rollers, track, lock, handle and seals.
Do you do structural work?
No. If rotted framing or a sagging header is what’s pinching the door, that needs a contractor. We’ll tell you what we see so you know who you need, and once the opening is sound we can come back and get the door sliding.
Do you work on impact and hurricane doors?
Yes, on the mechanical side: rollers, tracks, locks and alignment. Impact panels are much heavier than standard glass, and all of that weight rides on a few small wheels, so the rollers have to be rated for it.
We don’t replace impact glass. Impact door repair
Do you fix pocket doors?
Yes. A pocket door hangs from a track above the opening and rolls on small wheeled hangers. When a hanger wears out or the door drops out of adjustment, it drags on the floor, sticks halfway or comes off the track. We replace the hangers, adjust the door and fix the floor guide so it rolls back into the wall cleanly.
What about windows?
Yes, the mechanical parts: hardware, locks, balances, tracks, screens and seals. A sash that won’t stay up usually has a worn balance. We don’t replace glass or install windows.
Do you fix screen doors?
Yes. A sliding screen door usually falls off because its small wheels are worn or the frame has been knocked out of square. We replace the rollers, set the door back on its track, and rescreen torn or sagging mesh.
Is the repair done on the same visit?
If the parts your door needs are on the van, we can do the repair on the same visit, once you’ve approved the price. Some doors take parts that have to be ordered, and then we book a second visit. Sending a photo first makes the one-visit version more likely.
What if my door can’t be fixed?
We’ll tell you straight. The visit and the estimate are free, so you haven’t lost anything, and you’ll know what’s wrong before you shop for a new door.
Warranty and insurance
Is there a warranty?
Yes. 90 days on parts and labor. It covers the work we do. If something we fixed acts up in that time, email us.
Are you insured?
Yes, JET Sliding Doors is insured. Condos, HOAs and property managers can ask for a certificate of insurance, and we send it the same day.

- Before and after photo report for every unit.
- Free on-site estimate for each unit.

Can you send a certificate of insurance and a W-9?
Yes. Certificate of insurance and W-9 sent the same day on request. Tell us who the certificate should name, usually the association or the management company.
I’m away for the summer. Can you fix the door before I’m back?
Yes. We work with your property manager or caretaker, fix it before you arrive, and send you photos.
Someone just needs to let us in. The specialist evaluates the door, and you get the exact price before any work starts. Snowbird service
Getting ready for the visit
What photos should I send?
Send us a photo so we come with the right parts. More than one helps. These are the shots we use most:
- The whole door, taken from inside
- The bottom track, up close
- The edge with the handle and lock
- Any sticker or brand name on the frame
Email them to amir@jetslidingdoors.com. They help us plan, and they aren’t a quote.
How should I get ready for the visit?
- Clear a few feet on both sides of the door: furniture, plants, grills and anything leaning on the glass.
- Open or tie back blinds and curtains that hang over the door.
- Keep pets in another room. The door may be open or off its track while we work.
- Put a gate code or parking note in the booking form, or email it to us.
- In a condo, let the front desk or management know we’re coming, in case a service elevator needs booking.
Should I try to fix it myself first?
Please don’t force it. If the door has jumped the track or won’t move, leave it where it is. Glass panels are heavy, and a panel that’s off its rollers can tip out of the frame.
Skip the oil and grease too. In a bottom track they hold sand and grit, which grinds the rollers down faster.
Free on-site estimate, same-day or next-day service in our core area. Pick a day that suits you and we’ll confirm it.
