Satellite Beach is a barrier-island city directly south of Patrick Space Force Base, between the Atlantic and the Banana River. Living between the ocean and the lagoon means salt in everything that moves. Rollers sit at the very bottom of the door, closest to the sand and the spray, so they usually give out first. Stainless steel rollers hold up far better out here than plain steel ones.
Sand is the other half of it. It blows in under the screen, settles in the bottom track and gets ground in every time the door rolls. Leave it long enough and the rollers wear a groove in the aluminum. A stainless steel track cap fits over the worn track and gives them a smooth surface again.
